If you havent seen the thread yet...I blew my engine
If ford voids my warranty...which they probly will...i am goin to be getting a PSP engine with a built up block, his new blower, and some other performance stuff. With this setup I will probly be making some serious HP and am wondering if the stock tranny with your new valve body will hold up?? It will be a daily driver so I need reliability along with performance. If my current transmission setup will not hold up what would you reccomend. After this i dont plan on modding/wokring on the truck anymore so I need a tranny that will hold up with just the normal maitainence for as long as i have her(the truck). So what would you reccomend? And how much?
thanks

You're gonna need some clutch work, goes without saying, whether you buy new clutches and put them in or just buy a new box is up to you, you need special tools and need to know what you're doing to install the clutches (means you really ought to take it to a tranny shop, not a do it yorself kind of thing)
But on a more Zen level, man, slow down. Aside from blowing a lot of money on everything you've done (more power to you), do a mod, and learn what it does, get used to it, then go on. I think your problem is you did everything all at once nad never really had yourself centered. It's hard to explain, and hey, If I would have had the coin when I was 15 I sure would have torn up a few nice cars, too. (as it was, I tore up some old beat up cars, instead) There's a lot to learn as you go, take your time and figure it out. Otherwise you look like a ricer.
Just my opinion,
G

im goin to cool it on the mods for a while and learn more about cars/trucks in general...
if possible i will have sal be doing all the work, i dont know if he can do this...if not i will have someone over here do it. i dont want to have any problems with the transmission...in other words i want more than i need so i will not have to worry about my tranny goin...what would you suggest?
