Question Lightning Tuner: Chip Re-burn Needed?

Sal,

Quick question...since purchasing your 2-way chip I have added several other mods...PSP air filter, PSP lower pulley, and the PSP valve body. Is a re-burn necessary to get the most out of these mods or am I OK as is?

I also unplugged the boost bypass solenoid and get a "Service Engine Soon" warning about once a week which requires a PCM reset. Is something wrong here or is that somewhat normal?

Thanks!

These direct questions should be sent in email rather than cluttering the Forum with 1 to 1 messages.
As I have said so many times before these forums are for One to Many communication.
Thanks
Doug

Gottafast1, I would suggest a reburn since you added the pulley. As for unplugging the by pass solenoid, it really shouldn't make the light come on. It does set a code, but not usually a light. Are you sure that you unplugged the correct one? The EVR solenoid is also on the drivers side of the blower, and looks just like the by pass solenoid. Unplugging that one will for sure set a light. One easy way to make sure is to look about 4 inches down from the plug on the harness, and there should be a small silver sticker on it that says SCB. If it doesn't say SCB, you don't have the correct solenoid unplugged.
