I have a question

I just recieved a check in the mail from ford for the radiator up-grade (my truck has the wrong radiator for the tow package).
The information inclosed gives you three options, first - cash the check and keep the money, second - ford will send you a owner loyalty certificate for 500 dollars to be used for your next purchase or lease of a new ford truck or car, third - ford will replace your radiator with the correct one.
Right now im saving all the money I can because next july I am going to buy a new Lightning, can I use the owner loyalty certificate as part of the down payment?, or does it only apply to regular f150 trucks and cars.

Thanks for any information given.

Larry.

The restrictions ( if any ) should be on the certificate.

I cant see them restricting it to just certain vehicles.... You may have to go to the dealer and ask

It's good for any Ford, Lincoln or Mercury. The T-Bird was excluded.

I called about using it for a Jag was given the parameters. Jag, Volvo, Land Rover, Mazda do not apply. It's a "Ford Loyalty" certificate.

However, my plan is to use it for my next L which has to be bought by the end of next year which should be good for an 03.
