Thanks for the thoughts everybody. And for those that remembered, yes we did get hit in our '99 Denali back in February. That was in an ice storm and just avoided a head-on by swerving right and taking a mini van down the side.

Doesn't appear to be any damage. The thud seemed really loud and hard, but I think that was because we got hit in the trailer hitch. Not a lot of flex or crush going on there. The L would most definitely have sustained some damage. Much lower bumper and the trailer hitch is removed.
