Are the superchargers on the 01-02 Lightnings the same as on the 99-00? Are they different in any way externally or internally?

I was told the same inside just a different bolt pattern to fit the new lower manifold

 

most of the later built 2001's say svt on the front of the blower. The 99- earley 2000's say eaton. No biggie. Not sure about 2002

 

Well, there's a guy on Ebay selling a "Lightning" supercharger, and it looks more like a Saleen Supercharger than an eaton to me. I dont know what the new Lightning blowers look like... Can someone post a pic of their 01-02 Lightning engine bay please, or email it to me?

Ok, so regarding the 20Hp difference between the 01-02 and the 99-00 Lightnings, what are the differences? Where did the extra 20Hp come from? More boost? More aggresive tuning? Head work?

It came from a bigger MAF and better computer tuning.

The 3.73s also helped the lower 0-60 and 1/4mi.
