Cam cover breathers again-->>
Cam cover breathers again-->>
I did a search and there are a ton of opinions out there. My question is do we use breathers on both cam covers or just the passenger side? Do you plug the pvc line that is on the passenger side cover? Do you remove and plug the "straw" that goes from the maf boot to the driverside cam cover? With the plastic straw plugged along with the pcv line and the two breathers installed will that work? thanks for any info. Jeff
Jeff:
I did both--but, I put the PCV back in the cam-cover(back to normal). Still have the filter in the left side with the hole plugged in the 'boot'. Scared me yesterday when it started to detonate a little bit--don't know if it was just a coincidence but I thought it might be too much unmetered 'air'.

Dan the reason I ask this is because I got a SES light with a breather on the oil fill on the passenger side. The pcv was still hooked up and the straw was still in place from the boot to the driverside cam cover. I thought with the breathers that you would want to close off the pcv tube. Also I have notice that there is very very little or no vapors from the driverside cam cover. There is plenty though from the passenger side. Right now I have the pcv plugged as well as the straw on the inlet boot. I guess that will work ok.....time will tell. thanks Jeff
