Hey twisted I'm in Mobile, lets get together after Christmas and go race. Do you ever make it over to the Irvington track?

 

I'm game.....Irvington....that'a an 1/8 right. Never been but my son has. I was considering going up north to...I never can remember the name..north of Citronelle. I warn you the 01 is mean.....Just pullied up and reburned...FT valve body and Densos will be in next week....My F-1s have high miles....or is that low miles...I never can remember....laugh

The G-Tech said 13.3@111.1 the other night. It was ugly leaving the hole. Screaming and slidin' sideways.....

If I recall you work out at the airport......how about some good gas.....

 

The track is closed til after New Years but that will be fine. That will give you time to get your plugs and all done. I'll even bring you a few gallons of Avgas if you want to give it a try. I usually run my truck down to just above 1/4 tank and add 2 gal. of 130 octane. I know what you mean about the F1's on the road. Theres no telling what the track will Hook like after they resurface it, thats why its closed for the next few weeks.

My truck is flying with the PSP stuff on it, I think holt is open on sundays after christmas. The track is really nice.

The truck feels very fast to me, I think it will go low 8's fairly easily on the "Street side" of the chip. The race side should go high 7's I hope....

Yea, He's doing great. I saw him the other day. He started a new job and I think they are working his butt off right now. Maybe he can get to the track with us also. If your in the low 8's then you'll do great at Irvington cause you no its a little short of a real 1/8th mile. Should put you in the 7.8 range or so. How far is it over to Holt? I've never heard of the track there. Thats where we need to go if you say its nice.

 

Holt is a nice real 1/8 mile track about 15 minutes west of Pensacola on I-10, its beetween exits 10 and 11 and you can actually see it from the I-10. The facility is only a couple of years old and the people are real nice there also, they also have unleaded race gas at the pump.

I am ready when you guys are I am real anxious to run my truck.

Jan 6th at Holt or Jan 8th at Irvington will be the first days off that I can go. Bob I can't wait to see how good your PSP truck stands up to my JL enhanced. Twisted what name mods are you running? We know the truck are pretty much equal except maybe reaction times and performance add-ons. This might get interesting, HMMMM
