What the hell
What the hell
Well I think I might have done something wrong here. And for all the search cops out there I already looked and got mixed opinions because of it.
I wired my A/F gauge yesterday and I think I messed up somehow. When I started the truck the A/F gauge read at lean....which it should at idle. But when I revved it up to 4500 rpms it still never moved. Shouldn't it move towards rich or at least stoichiometric. I couldn't take it for a ride because it is up on stands.
I hooked the purple wire to the back driver side O2 sensor black wire. This is where I got the mixed reviews because I have read that you can wire it to the front or the back sensor...does it matter.
I sent the black wire to ground.
I sent the red wire to the radio....so the gauge goes on and off with the ignition.
So can anyone tell me where I went wrong???? Sorry for the long post...any help is appreciated.
