I know ANOTHER recall question...
I know ANOTHER recall question...
...Well, I did a search, and found a couple of posts that seemed relevant, but I wanted to get a straight answer if someone might know?
I have a 2000 "L" and I am going to be selling it unfortunately in the next couple of months.
Now I know this sounds crazy to do, but I want to know something about the I/C fix.
The only problem I currently have with my truck is that the alignment is off, and the alignment shop said it was a bad tire? (More on that later)
Note: I do not have the leak yet, but I wanted to know if the recall that SVT has issued will be honored if your truck has not yet begun to leak? Can you still have it done?
I thought it would be a good selling point if I told the new owner, "Yes I have had the I/C recall done, the wiper motor, the seat belt update, and the alignment fixed."
Truck is immaculate on top of that...
Now the alignment...
They switched the opposite tire (for testing purposes only) in the front to the pass side, and saidn the truck drove straight.
They then put it back and it pulls to the right.
ow this has been like this since I purchased the truck with only 2000 miles on it...?
I also just had the tires rotated with no change...?
So I am questioning the "tire" thing...
gonna have the dealer look at this too...
Anyone with any input on the I/C thing?

On the intercooler recall, they will fix it even if your truck is not leaking. Took mine in for an oil change and they fixed the intercooler at my request after i received the recall notice - mine was not leaking. Not sure about the alignment.
