Question What size gears?

My cousin has a 97 Mustang GT. He just took his 3.73 gears out in place of 4.10 gears. I was wondering if those gears would fit into an L. Any info is appreciated...

Cool 4:10 gear kit

If your interested in putting a 4:10 gear in your L let me know. I carry a US/Strange kit. Comes complete with ring/pinion, pinion nut, shims, seal, FMS friction modifier.

Mark, or anyone else for that matter, does anyone make a 3.93ish gear set that would work with our trucks?

Cool Gears

Hey Bob,

Sorry, to my knowledge there is only 3:73 and 4:10 available for 9:75. If your concern is streetablity and mileage I have not seen a noticeable difference in mileage. And it will really hook up.

Thanks Mark. I just wasn't sure if I wanted to make such a large jump in gearing. Was looking for a little more oomph. I guess I'll just add this to the ever growing list of mods I want to accomplish. Anyone know where I can find me a sugar-momma?

Bob
