Took my L out for a spin yesterday afternoon, as the weather was brisk, but clear and sunny (for a change). I've been driving my winter car (Honda Civic) for the last week and a half. What a change to get back into the L. I thought I was sitting in a high chair. Took me a while to get used to it. It's also another way to get that perma-grin back on your face.

 

My second car is an Escort. So I know the feeling. My Escort has the exceleration of a loaded cement truck. Bob.

 

Took dog out at 4:30 A.M. and saw nothing but stars in the sky!!
Decided to drive the L to the car plant today.
Everything went fine until I drove by the Airport.....
For whatever the reason, Ohio Highway Department had SALTED
about a half mile of the road. Oh S#%& !!!!
I have no intention of driving in the snow, salt, or even the rain if
I can help it. (Obsesive conpulsion disorder is good sometimes.)
Well, after I navigated through the salt the rest of the drive in was worth it. 27 degrees, open highway, Pink Floyd on the CD,
dosen't get any better than this.
Gues she will get a bath as soon as I get home tonight.

childhood memories. Last time I remember bein' in a highchair , My momma whipped me for standin' up in it--accordin' to her; I never did it again .
