Wow, that thing is fast, whats in it?

Heh, thats what the guy in the BMW 330 said to me at the second light after he thought he'd out accelerate me off the first.
Been a bit since I had a kill, was nice.
I had a dead-even 0-100mph race with my friend as his 3000GT VR-4... We're both stock.

You may be stock, but what about your truck? As long as you have had it now I can't believe you haven't modded it yet. C'mon, support your local vendors before we have to start pointing the finger of ridicule at you.
Heheh, I've got tons of appearance/stereo mods, but I still have some of that "void your warranty" paranoia...my f'n Topaz did it to me, that thing was in for warranty work ALL THE TIME...so now even though I'm dying for it, I get scared to put mods on for the fact something will break and then the dealer will give me crap.
lol.
Damn pavlov behavior from my crap Topaz...I hope to get over it soon and then spend all my current savings on my beastie.

Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything, but the whole key to keeping your OEM and extended warranty in oh so full e-f-f-e-c-t, while still turning sub-13 second 1/4 mile times and tearing up the street, is to carefully choose only those mods that can quickly and relatively painlessly be undone on short notice.
So as an exercise, lets just say I had a spare Lightning that I could mod, and one day I had bring it in for service because...oh, I don't know, maybe it blew a spark plug annnnnd had to have IC replaced for the 2nd time (pretty weird totally random choices, I know). If that was the case, I could probably turn the truck back to stock and take off a...chip, filter, MAF, lower pulley, gauge pod and shift kit in a matter of hours, and "people" would be none the wiser. Keep in mind: "There's a difference between lying, and not telling the whole truth"
But my truck's stock...so thats just a guess.
