Question

Anybody make one of these without the electric option? Does the Bullit gas door work?

Ya know I'm about as lazy as the next guy, but a electric door? Nix the power, bring the price down and I'll take one.

Hey Guys,
I got mine today and it is in pieces so I can have it painted to match the truck. It is going to the painter tomorrow. I do not have the elec. one, as I wanted the one with a key. I also do not have the bolts that go around the door so it would look smoother after painting. I will paint the door parts and the center locking latch is polished, chrome like, to match the chrome wheels.

I have pictures of the parts and will post everything after I get it back from the painter, as I put it back together and install it.

This is a top shelf part, it cost but it looks like it. There is nothing cheap looking or fitting about this door. It is a part that will bring lots of attention. Randy is the guy building and selling these parts and he loves his work and job.

I also just sent my steering wheel and pull handle, off to American Sitiches to have the parts carbon fiber & covered with yellow leather the match the inside parts. The handle will have carbon fiber center, yellow leather, then gray leather to match the pillar where it attaches. They also do great work, but this really cost!

Sorry for the long post,
Alvin

How does it install? If I have the right size hex bit on my electric screw driver, does it come off pretty easily? I was thinking about getting a Bullitt fuel door a while back and thought twice when someone stole my frikkin' gas cap. The just snipped the plastic cord and took the darn thing while I was getting groceries. I'm glad they didn't try to take anything else, but still, it makes me a little paranoid.

But what would someone do with a locked fuel door?
