Non Chipped Mods

Was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions concerning performance modifications that you can make to the L that DO NOT require a stock chip replacement.
As an example, on this board here I have read about the Factory Tech Shift Kit mod that you can do to the tranny which improves shifting and overall performance of the tranny. I don't think this mod requires any chip change. I guess this could classify as a mechanical improvement mod versus a horsepower gain mod.
Are there any horsepower gain mods out there that don't require computer chip tinkering?
Looking for suggestions on both mechanical improvement and horsepower gain mods.

Thanks in advance

Well, just about any mod you can think of really. For performance mods I would suggest:

-Open air breather
-You choice of lower pulley (2# is nice to start with)
-F/T Shift kit, or line mod valve
-Single Blade t/b
-Different muffler (Bassani, Magnaflow, etc - just for sound)
-Ram Air

Just to name a few. Just my .02.
