Cool

Well if you want a Cobra you are going to have to wait. SVT hasn't released them into production yet, and I bet you won't see any till late spring or the summer.

So that makes it a easy choice, the Lightnings are being built right now. Go to the dealer and order a Lightning now.

If you like the Cobra, but like the supercharger on the Lightning wait for the Terminator. It's a Cobra with an Eaton blower and will be released later this year. At least that's what the media is stating.

You cant go wrong with a Lightning its fast and you can haul stuff around in it and its faster than the cobra!! I pull my boat around with it all the time with no problems!! Then race it that night!!

Sounds like a set up to me. I think I'll check back later to see how this thread develops.

Arrow I'm with BBQMAN yet inquiring minds must knows

Will the Leer Jet engine's PCM be 'chip-able' and, if so, which one is best?

Which headers give the most 'bang' for buck?

and.... will it have the infamous landing gear 'clunk'?

...or something

Lightning all the way. You sound young and insurance on a L is half that of a Cobra, WS6, or Vette. More rare prestigous and faster than a Cobra OOhhh! Plus Cobra's are mostly piloted by punks.

I know what u are going through....i liked being low to the ground and shifting with my 96 cobra manual, but there's no comparision to my L.......there are precisely 213524524544211 mustangs out there and roughly (4000x3) 12000 Gen2 lightnings........most people don't know about them, that's what'
s cool......yeah, in my Cobra i would smoke a TA or a Camaro here and there, but you don't nearly get the look on peoples faces when your 4800lb truck leaves them seeing taillights and an SVT emblem......... GO L ALL THE WAY

Well Ra, See, how it worked was: I first took the number of Jap cars vs # of American cars in America, which is in ratio form about 4 to 1.

Then: Took the number of Fords to other manufacturers (1 to 4).

Next: Ratio of Mustangs to other Fords 1 in 2.

Then: Multiply that by the number of people in America, which is exactly 13245245246246 + 1 too many.

Finally: Utilizing all three ratios, compute the # of mustangs in america. Again, precisely 25324246264246243

Then realize that a L is much cooler than any blown turbo on crack mustang could ever be.
