I don't really think the dealers are "jerks" as they DO NOT have to discount SVT products at all. They pay extra just to sell SVT. That being said you should be able to find all kinds of plans if the economy dosen't pick up. Ford layed off 600+ yesterday and stopped matching 401Ks. These trucks are for the most part "toys" and not work trucks , and in slow times people [us fun lov'n poor truck drive'n folk] have to pass. I think you will see even more "L"s on lots this year and deeper discounts. This will not help our resale values and I would not hold my breath for a '03, maybe in '04.

MX, WWHHOOO that was a mouth full ,and an eye full, I was starting to see double for a minute there. Well thanks for the info and on the other hand bad news about the EAA plan. I was at the dealer today and he told me that I might be able to get some kind of a discount through my union. He also said that if it was even a ford affiliated company(UPS for instance) that I might be able to get some kind of a discount!! Ill have my fingers crossed!!
Oh yea Im very impatient also I will spend the $$ if I have to wait to long, no way Im waiting till '03??
Thanks
