Thumbs up O/T My car on Speedvision

I was away from the computer and my motorhead wife had Speedvision on TV. I watched for a minute, and saw my car on TV.

It's my '66 Yenko Stinger Corvair Roadracer.

Ahhhh........... Life is Good.

It looks good on TV with the right front tire in the air.

Yenko had his hands into everything.
I saw some awesome 60's Mopar Factory Super Stocks today. Man they are a side of beef!! Tuff cars. 4500 dollars when new.

Fascinating stuff. I had no idea that people were modifying those things in that fashion. The '65 - '67's were sweet handling cars by the standards of the time, despite what Nader would have had you believe. I sold my 65 Barracuda and bought a stripped '67, which I happily drove for over 100K miles til a drunk driver totalled it. Bought a '72 Toyota p/u, and have been down the pickup road to perdition ever since, VW, Nissan, and finally Lightning. Just goes to show you that insanity can strike at any age.
