I am thinking of adding your NX system to my truck, Would the 3lb pulley be to much with NOS? Also what would I have to do about my Chip? Right now I have a JL chip.

 

Richard, you can run nitrous with pulleys, you just have to keep the proper balance of the two. We suggest no more than 100 shot with +2 psi, and no more than a 75 shot with +4 psi. Since you have +3 psi, I'd suggest the 75 shot. As for your chip, I recommend you get one of our nitrous programs, whether you switch to a PSP Dual Chip with street and nitrous settings, or you just get a single nitrous program chip from us and use your JL for off the juice.

 

You are using a 150 hit right? Stock Pulleys?

If I got the good plugs, good fuel pumps, & your good program. You think I would be safe with 3lb and 100 hit?

 

What about NX (100 shot) & a 5# pulley???

 

The reason Sal recomended the differant combos is not becuase your plugs, fuel, and tuneing are the issue. Blowing a rod is the issue.

I understand about the rod issue, i have heard about 17lbs of boost is that max. Does the NOS add alot to the boost level as well? How much would a 100 shot add?
