Measured wheel well

I measured the wheel wells on my truck with the FRPP drop kit on:
31 1/4" font 32 1/4" rear. The truck sits with a lot of rake, I'm thinking about doing a hanger to drop the rear another inch. What is the measurement on some of the other drop kits?

Before you put a longer shackle in back you better look at the pinion angle of the differential. Might need to shim it or get different springs....

ICULOKN could you post the wheel well measurements of your truck? I want mine to sit like your's. You only need a shim if you drop the rear past 3 inches. I plan on stoping at 3.

I will measure it and post it tomm. I want to take mine down like DJY's truck. His is way down. I had a shim kit way before I dropped my truck. It helps with traction alot!!!

DJY:

Those must be 20's?

I'm sitting at 28.5 all the way around.

BTW, your truck looks great. I do think you were the first to go so low.

I have allmost the same measurements as you with my Hotchkis front springs and Belltech rear shackles, and to me it looks to level.

My mesurements are 31.25 LF 12.50 RF and 32.00 rear

I want to keep the rear where it is now but I would like to get the front down to about 30-30.5" I guess I like the rake look.

Question

TampaSVT, Yes I am running 20 inch 2001 rims and 295-40-20 Goodyear hd zr tires! Yes on this site I think I was the first to experment with lowering a Lightning. I love the way you take pictures of your Lightning. You always have the nicest coolest pictures of your Lightning!

RTkilla, What did you do to say your suspension is "totally tweated in everyway"?????

RTKILLA did you use the shakel/ hanger 3 inch drop? Is yore tire diameter the same as stock 28? I would like the rear of my truck to sit a 1/2" lower than it does now bring it to 31 3/4. I'm just afraid of droping the back too far and having a neg. rake
