Smile The truck is ok - no damage from my stupidness.

I went out to the garage now that she is cooled down a bit and jacked the back end up and looked the underneath of her over real good. I was a little freaked at work when it happened so I did not really look at the underneath to much, my techs said everything was ok. I needed to look for myself.

There is no damge anywhere, I am so relieved.

All that was damaged was those beautiful tips so i emailed mark to see if he can get some replacements for me. I truely gateful that this did not happen at any real speed or it could have been real bad for me and the truck.

I learned a real good lesson tonight!!! Thanks for the concern you guys have shown.

Bob

BTW - My PSP pulley and chip is sitting on my desk at work. I think I am gonna sit on them for a little bit.

Well it's great that nothing bad happened, except the poor tips.

Now what happened, did I miss the thread or something?

I know you've got salt air and water all around you Bob, but that was a really 'fast' case of rust erosion! Glad you and the L are ok !

Btw, neither the pulley or the chip require welding when installin' .

Thanks Ram Air

Bob - that sucks dude, I've had my stock muffler blow off 3 times at the track. So I think when I replace it with a better one it's gonna get clamped and welded!
