I've heard a few of you talk about fog light mods to have them on when running only running lights ??? I have a 01, anyone care to share how to do that

The mod should be the same. It involves taking out the switch and basically filing the plastic tab that keeps you from pulling the switch out. There is also an electrical connection to be made, but everything should be the same. If you go to the web site that I mentioned before, you can see everything. It is very simple to do, just take your time and do it right.

 

Did it on my Y2K and my 2001 splice #5 wire into #12 and thats it. It takes longer to take switch out then the actual splice.

 

AggieSVT, I carved the tab down on the switch so that is good to go but the connectors from the 99L and the 00 and newer are different. I've tried to get this info before but noone was able to help me out. I hope someone can help us out. Any info would be great.
