best mods to begin with?
I got a 2001 brand new lightning. I plan on puttin on a chip, a new throttle body, a lower pulley, and an exhaust. What do yall think the first mods should be??
Of those mods, I would do the chip first. Where you get that chip is anybodies game. All the tuners are good fellows, and its a tight market for them.
After all that stuff you mentioned (which should put you into the 12s quite consistently), I would get a shift kit, torque converter, and a drive shaft loop. All this ofcourse, after I'd get my hands on a pair of cams, but they haven't been researched enough.
BTW, welcome to the board.

Hey Blulightning,
Mark here (LFP). Those are good mods. If your question is which first, go with a chip and filter combo first. If the money is available add the lower pulley. This will really wake the L up. Add the exhaust for sound. The T/B is good but can be added later. It will give you better throttle response and add about 6-7 ponies. Shoot me an email if you need more info. I'll get right back to you.
