Red face BaBolt/Still working on it!!

Hey guys I am still around and driving the truck 50 miles daily. I finished the intercooler and all of the cosmetic work on the blower setup and just received the new motor last week. If I would have known that I would have to DAMM near build every part for this thing I probably would have not done it. But here I am a year later and its done YEAH!!! I keep BaBolt up to date but I got tired of waiting for parts so I just shut up until I had the goods. I should be able to start posting photos over the Christmas holidays when we have time to do the motor swap. Still hoping for 700H.P. on pump gas. The key is in the cylinder heads and we spent alot of time here to make power. Time will tell? With my luck it will be slower with the new motor, Chet

Why?

I don't understand the dual blower setup. Why not simply put a race blower on and yank the eaton? After the centrifugal blower is producing boost the eaton is just a restriction/drag. If you are gunning for 700 HP, then you'll have plenty power off-idle anyway.

Chet,

Hey you probably don't know me, but I am Frank Hines' (Joe Dehorty's partner) son.

I remember Joe talking about you doing a dual-setup on your L, but thought Joe was just talkin'

Cool deal.

Just thought I'd say hi..

Are you racing the pro-truck next year?

Damn, I was gonna apply for the job of your son. I really feel like I would have been a great asset to your (dare I say OUR) family.

Bored

Dale nice to meet you. Joe has been a huge help with the race radios and we race this weekend in Vegas. Once everything is done I will get a hold of Joe and we can go run the truck. I met a couple other LOL guys here in the valley and we can hook up with them for a night of street racing. Just what I need a little jail time between work and fighting the war!! I khave been busy with the reserves and this little AFGHAN problem overseas lately.:o

Sounds good to me!

I've met you before a couple times out at laguna seca, but Im sure I was less than memorable... more of a nod and a "hi" than anything else

If we go street racing in the valley we may need to use your L, I dont think a high 12 second truck can compete with some of the stangs out there...

Now yours on the other hand....
