Ran a new best of 12.26 at cecil today.
Thanks to 99svtlightning for the throttlebody.

Totaled ran a 11.69 and JL ran a 12.0 in his new '01.
Sal ran a 11.3 with Jim's (Totaled) wheels and tires.
Lenny ran a 12.13 and Charlie's truck ran a 11.97

Had a great time today.

You guys keep up the good work, and bring home the goal. Tell Totaled I said to teach Sal how to bracket race now .

 

yes we all ran great! I'm really happy with the 12.0 @ 112 with just a 1.70 60 ft. i had borrowed 16" wheels and tires from my buddy Eric! but i couldn't launch it as hard as i wanted to. i'm confident if i had my 15" x 28" slicks i would have went 11.80's and i'm not no where near finished with the bolt ons. time wouldn't let me.. I also would like to say i got to meet Doug the moderator and enjoyed the few brief moments we had.. he was running great! well i'm glad we all ran great and safe! see everyone next year Lord Willing.... it is amazing that thanks to this forum we can travel 1600 miles to a drag strip and be welcomed as freinds by people that we have never met in person... Maybe we'll see some of you guys in Texas for FFW next year...

I ran a 12.7@109 in my new truck with just a chip and lower pulley. I am looking forward to bolting on the rest of my parts.

As usual, I had a great time. It was nice seeing everyone again. Hopefully we can get together one more time before the track closes. Anyone game for Dec. 15th, if there isn't any snow on the ground? I think totaled is planning on coming down that day.

 

Eric, Me and 4DTHNDR will definitely be there on the 15th provided it's not snowing. Get all your mods on so you can hit the 11's this year. I think we will see Charlie deep into the 11's!!

Man I had another great day at Cecil this past Sat. It was great to be there in person to see some new Low ET records set by a bunch of good people.

Wish I could have stayed at the track longer, glad to see there wasn't any cops hiding in the bushes on my way to the Phili airport.. I made it on time to the airport and got home late sat. night..
