Is it possible to change the bulbs/color of the L's dash gauges from green to possibly blue or amber?

Well I was going to try something like that awhile back......I could be wrong but here goes:

The Lightning uses a special type of flourescent lamp to illuminate the dash. The factory manual states if the lamp should go bad, the entire cluster must be replaced. If you disconnect the cluster from the wiring harness, you will need to have it reset or recalibrated by the dealer in which a special tool is used.

My advice?

Stay away from the dash cluster unless you are ready to go through the above. However, you can outfit your truck with LED bulbs which have a crisper, well defined light. I changed all the interior and exterior bulbs with em and it was well worth it. The LEDS that are sold through trucking catalogs are terrible and a waste. If you are looking for quality go here
