so long as you don't 'purge' on Roscoe, you should be fine.

**disclaimer**

please consult with state and local statutes and/or ordinances prior to 'nawsing.'

In CA you can't have it working on the street, e.g. the bottle must be disconnected.

Definitely check local laws as Bob stated above.

Should be fine.

I see so many around here that I don't think the police pay the bottles much attention anyway, as long as nothing smells funny

Just saw one on a Pinto...frightening...

actually, any compressed gas cylinder, can come under the scrutiny of many jurisdictions. DOT, HazMat, State Police. lots of rules and regs for position of cylinders, valve protection, etc.

State Police can tell you if it is allowed in the truck at all, on the street. they can also tell you if they have their own HazMat division, that governs "oxidizers" like nitrous, and the local rules, like position, and valve protection in case of an accident.

That's true.

2kL, you should stop by your local police station and ask them about it.

I did that when I moved out here from the South, and needed to make sure I wasn't doing anything illegal with the motor vehicles and other 'items'

just called MD state police. I can have a system installed in the vehicle, but cannot have the bottle hooked up on the street. I guess i can still carry the bottle, but it has to be visibly disconnected.
