Question How much is the insurance on your L?

Hi Guys and Gals

Im thinking about selling my Mustang and getting a new L. I was just wondering what you guys pay for insurance.

Im 31 and have a clean driving record but I bet it will still be high, atleast compared to the $840 I pay a year for my stang.

Thanks
Andy G

My insurance actually went down when I traded in my Cobra for the L. I think it depends on the insurance company though.

Of course I always seem to get shafted on insurance.

I pay $2,328 a year.

For some odd reason I am considered middle-risk and I have one ticket and NO accidents in seven years!!!

I tried to change insurance companies, but I am in the nationwide system for middle-risk drivers. Even though it was the insurance companies fault I still have to wait two years before I am considered low-risk again.

I use to pay $1423 a yr for two cars. This was my rate since 1999 when I bought my first Lightning. But now my insurance company (AIG) has figured out what a Lightning is, and my rate is $1984 a yr. A clean drivers license, no accidents/no tickets!!! Iam single and48! Gotta love Jersey insurance

I'm 23 with some speed tickets more than 2 years ago and pay $108/mo ($1296/yr) That's with insuring my wife's jetta, and the house with State Farm, so that multi-line & multi-car & accident free discounts. Hopefully it'll drop even more when I hit 25.

Thing is, it's hard to compare insurance rates. It is very costomized to the person and the situation they happen to be in.

I've got Farmer's Insurance - when I traded my 99 F-150 XLT for the 2000 Lightning my 6-month policy went down $1. I've had some infractions over the past couple of years, but my premium has never changed. The insurance card has SVT on it, but I think it's classed as a standard F-150.
