anyone feel like checking under thier L for me?

Does anyone know the part # on the stock hanger for the rear suspension on the L. I bought a 99 used in january and i think it may have an aftermarket hanger, i'm not sure. Could someone provide me with the stock part # please??

Jon,

Do you mean hanger or shackle?

I just measured the difference between the stock garbage and the set of AIM shackles (also garbage).

Stock = 6" end to end (same on all Gen 2 years)

AIM = 9" end to end

Does the truck sit practically level?

If your pondering putting the stock units back in to improve ride quality, DONT! Trust me. If your towing, well, that is a different issue.

Talking about the piece that is connected to the leaf spring, not the part connected to the frame. not sure which is which. It has a Part No. 4.294.439 engraved on it.

The reason i was asking is because i ordered the FRPP kit and i just wanted to make sure it already didnt have aftermarket hangers/ shackles....

Thanks,
Jon

Cool

Measure like Bob said. It is a measurable difference between stock and aftermarket shackles.
