Dan,
You have GOT to get quicker NOW! How's a 12.85@106 sound to ya?!? The reburn and the 3lb pulley paid off!
60' 1.890 (on F1's@32psi
)
1/8th 8.235@85.70
1/4 12.852@105.85
76 degrees as well.
My first run was a 13.026, then a 12.999 (close huh?), then 13.035(engine was hot), 12.926, then the 12.852. Without a doubt I could have gotten a quicker time, I left at 4:30 and they were just getting ready for the nighttime grudge matches. Temp should be upper 40's easily but I was pretty much whipped from the entire day.
We had a good turn out (7 L's -5 ran). All in all, a very enjoyable day. BTW, beat one of my buddies in his new '02 Z-06 (less than 200 miles).
Previous best was a 13.237@101.18 (should read ~103.5)
8.503@83.99 1/8th on a much cooler day than today
Guess it's time to change the sig to:
"FASTER THAN LIGHTNINROD WITH LESS MODS AND I STILL DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' TIRES"
LOL

nice times corner i ran dan last night there is nothing to him when u put him under pressure he breaks and cant cut the light that he needs.
j/k dan. but lets go ahead and make plans to all meet up at reynolds next fri. night for the test and tune i'd like to have around 10 lightnings there that would be cool
im ready to run some more of them there 12's and now i think i figured out my launch and heating the tires. everybody that wants to meet up at silver dollar in reynolds, GA. cmon lets have a lightning shootout. its nice to meet some of the faces behind the names and not have to type for such long periods of time to get a thought across.

Hallelujah!!! Praise de Lawd!
He done did IT--12s!!! Oustandin' CorrectCraft--er--CornerCarver! Who ever said you couldn't get into the 12s? LOL Well, you beat me--on et, but I still got you in MPH(106.91). Your times are all the more impressive because you do have "less mods" and ON F1s-----My hat's off to you man!
Rusty, I knew I shouldn't have disconnected that boost dump solenoid for you--look what you went and did!
I still can't figure out why my L broke into the 12s(temps of 65*) the first 3 passes-hot(idling the whole time between runs)-no ice--then I let it cool down for an hour or more(long wait for the track to be cleaned up-- a couple Buicks 'buicked' all over the track) and when Rusty and I line up(temps at 55*): he hands me my azz and I can't get any better than a 13.057???
C/C, we had 6 Ls(2 Gen 1s) togeather last nite--good times and much bench-racin(waitin' for the track clean-up) between some young lads and one ol' cuss. Make the drive over next Fri pm--you can get off early from that 'cushy' job you've got--they let ya wash your L at lunch!
Call me at work(1-800-926-2136) Monday and tell me me all about your 12s--I can hardly wait--LOL. Oh, I almost forgot--Mr. Moderator, iisn't against the 'rules' to use so much 'bold type' in a sig.?

Hey, I forgot--post your new 12 second time over on nloc.org. They've got a wonderful 'list' of everybody's times. Go to 'Times and Modifications'--(this will be difficult for you)--follow the 'format' carefully and it will update any time you post a 'new best'.
