So I'm driving home last night, just a couple miles to go. The street was wide open and my buddy was about 1/4 mile ahead of me, so just after crossing through an intersection I nail it. Caught up to my buddy and slowed down. Not 5 seconds later, I look in my rearview and see a cop on my bumper, follows me into the left turn lane, and we wait at the light.

I just know he's going to pull me over, and sure enough, light turns green, red and blue come on behind me. I pull over, and eventually he walks up to my door, asks for my license... blah blah blah. Then he asks "so whats all that racket you were makin back there?" I asked what he meant by 'racket' and he says, "sounds like you've got some kind of siren on this thing." It was hard not to laugh, but I explained to him that it was the supercharger - from the factory as well. He still didnt believe me and asked if I could reproduce the sound while sitting there. "I sure can!" So here I am pulled over with the cop standing at my door, and revving my engine at him!

So he says "ok, thats what I heard". He ran my license (since I was already pulled over), we joked around for a bit about me and my siren and then he took off. The guy was really cool, sure made my night!

How did you get the blower to spool up without the transmission in drive?

 

You have great luck !! I would have somehow ended up in jail that night My local police hate my truck, and when i drive my mustang i can see there faces get all red and smoke starts to some out of there ears , then the sirens go off etc. Oh well it keeps them on there feet

 

All you have to do is blip the throttle open and closed real quick. Just stomp the pedal three times. And cover yer ears!

My supercharger whines hard and loud when I rev it in park. The JL Ram air and blower pulley makes the blower whine even under vacuum.
