Line Mod Valve and Shift Kits

I want to skirt 2nd, and get a hard shift if not a little skirt into 3rd, SAFELY. I searched for line mod valve and shift kits but still have questions. What is the difference between Line Mod Valve and Shift kit. I saw the Line Mod Valve on JDMs website but could not find the FactoryTech/PSP shift kit on PSP's site. From what I read the shift kit along with a deep sump trans pan is safer than just a Line Mod Valve with a deep sump pan. Can somone tell me why this is and a little more info on the FT/PSP kit and where to get it?

thanks
joe santana

Purchase a complete kit, not just a Line-Mod valve...you'll be pleased you did.

With the provisio that I DO NOT RECCOMEND IT, I'm about ready to start selling line mod valves for about $35 just to do it, because to tell you the truth it amazes me that people are getting $90-$100 for the things.
It's half a shift kit, do the whole thing whether you use mine (which I think is best) or not.

just buck up and buy the PSP/Factory Tech accumulator body ($200bucks I believe). You will love it. worth the money. I have driven L's with just chips from JDM and JL and driven trucks with chips and "line mod valves". and I've driven my truck w' JL chip and PSP/Factory Tech accumulator body, it is the best.

It shifts hard when you need it, soft when you dont.

just my .02

later,
chris
