What we do, depending on track conditions we will light up the slicks and get em nice and sticky. Then stage the truck, arm the nitrous, and torque it up to about 1000rpm. Tree comes down off the brake and roll into the gas at the same time.

You on the other hand are not running the same setup we are. If you dont have slicks, turn your F1's around (Put your RR on your LR, and your LR on you RR). Do a qucik dry hop to clean em off and stage. When staged torque it up to about 1000. Tree comes down, off the brake and roll into the at the same time.

Though you will have to do some trial and error. On street tires try to get your 60's down to a 2.0 or 1.9 if track is permitting. On slicks, try getteing them down to 1.8 or 1.7.

Make sure the floor mat is 'back' and not under the accel. pedal. Move the seat 'forward' as close as you can and still have room for your left knee.

On F1s, go around the 'water'--stay out of it. A quick, dry 'hop'(in drive, not 1st or 2nd) to clean the sand, etc. off the rear treads--roll up to pre-stage--shift to neutral-blip the throttle(will introduce cool air to the intake)--back to drive(make sure your O/D is off)--brake/gas/torque to 800/900 rpm--at stage light--watch tree--as the third amber tree lite comes on, roll(don't 'stomp' it) into the throttle while releasing the brake(if you're lucky/done right, you won't red-lite and will get a decent r/t)--as you move off the line and you feel the tires gripping(not spinnin')--full/hard throttle all the way thru the traps. Should be GRINNIN' the whole time!

Now, I'll put in a disclaimer--I only started drag racin' in June of 01, so if I missed anything or messed somethin' up--I'll read about it. The people that have(and continue to) helped me assume no responsibility.
