Norwalk Experiment

I will be trying out a new "home made" pinion snubber on
Sunday at Norwalks test and tune. I do not use traction
bars and need to improve my L's plant from the line.
If it works I would be willing to share it on this sight.
I spent around an hour with one of my welders and
machinists on it yesterday afternoon.

They are only running from 12 until 5 Shawn. I will no doubt leave
home around 9:30 or so and run the turnpike over to exit 7, Rt.
250.
Hope you can make it.
I spoke to some people at Mickey
Thompsons today and they have plans for some new sized
tires. Gonna try the snubber out too...
Gotta atop that 12.88 @108.99!!!!

hey marc, how ya doin? i'm thinking about norwalk on sunday too and i haven't raced there yet. i've heard it's real crowded and you don't get many runs, is that true? can you tell me how to get there from detroit? i too have a traction design of my own and i'd like to go into hibernation with a few good runs under my belt. best so far is 12.70 @ 108 but this sunday looks like a record breaking day at the track! thanks.....jack

Hi Marc,

Nice to "see" you again!

Glad to hear the pinion snubber is going well, & let me know how those settings we talked about work. You've got plenty of adjustment range built in there, it sounds like it's going to work very nicely.
