smoked a vette this morning!

Wow that was fun!

I was pulling in the toll both on 80/294 there and I see a bright shinny new silver vette. So this guy kinda looked at the beast and it was like the horse track with the gates opening and we both took off running down the ramp. We went back and forth for a couple miles and then we got a nice long stretch of road and it was on. I just drop the hammer and it was over! I think we got up to about 110 maybe 115 and then we shut it down but I had a good 4 to 5 cars on his vette, what a blast. And to say the least I had a bunch of crap in my bed that I had to bring to the office this morning.

What a truck, after 2 and a half years I'm still loving every minute of having her. When I put her away at night she sits in the garage and I just can't help but not stare and her and whisper sweet nothings in the dark. I turn the lights off and then I turn them back on to make sure she's still there and to see how beautiful she is.

You guys that have had your L's since the 99's first came out, do you still feel that same way about your L as you did back then? I do. I just can't get enough no matter what, and I hope it never ends. I got it so bad still that my truck makes my girlfriends jealous HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. pretty bad I know, but its fun.

Thumbs up

Nice kill, RTKILLA!

Do you think a bone-stock L could've taken that Corvette? I'm planning on keeping mine stock, and I want to 'choose my battles wisely' before engaging in a 'dogfight'...

Not chance with two good drivers. Those LS1's are fast. I own a camaro and a lightning and love them both but I am certain you can't beat a new vette. definately not from a 70-80 MPH kick.

I raced a vette a while back when I was stock.
It was a convertible like a '99 or newer.
Was behind him at the light and when it turned green he nailed it.
I stomped it too and spun alot. But when I hooked up, I was right on his bumper. I went over into the other lane and kept into it. He was a half of car length ahead of me. Then I just seemed to keep gaining on him. Was bumper to bumper with him when we hit 120 then he just seem to give up. Must of got scared or something. Doesn't matter he give up and therefore I won.
I think he was surprized that a pickup could keep up with him.
Well next time I think he'll really be surprized when a pickup beats him.

WOW thats sick.
Look even then my truck MPH's like a bat out of hell. That time was at cordova when I first discovered what a chip was. I went from a 13.9/14.0 to a 13.5 that day. It was the awesomest feelign to see that much of a decrease in time. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. That was the first time I met lightning BOB and bunch of other guys and they help me install the chip. If wierd to look back at that stuff you know. I never figured I would be going this fast with my truck. 12's where like the holy mother of god to us, and look now. I could probably go 11's if I had the ***** to spray a 100 shot, HAHAHAHAHAHA. Its coming soon, don't worry. God look at that 60 foot time, HAHAHAHA I sucked big time HEHEHEHEHE.

LIFE IS GREAT!

You have no Idea!

I think I have close to 30 gran in mods on my truck, SICK I KNOW. I still want to mod more and more though. Once I get enough money saved up I'm going to rebuild this motor, but I keep on fining new cheaper stuff to get and its killing me. Good thing I still live at home, ITS ALLOT CHEAPER! HAHAHAHA

Maybe not stock for stock, but how many of us are stock!

I'd pull up to a new viper and feel confident now a days.

Still waiting for that chance to get one under my belt, thats why I'm going towards the monster pulley route, BOOSTIN BABY!
