2002 SVT Experience
Mark your calendar now for the 2002 SVT Experience in Dearborn, Mich., to be held Aug. 8-11, 2002. Over 1,600 people and more than 600 SVT vehicles from 39 states and 3 Canadian provinces attended the inaugural SVT Experience in August 2000, and this one promises to be even bigger and better. With driving events, car shows, cruises, technical seminars, plant tours, and many other activities, it is a must-attend event for any SVT enthusiast. Look for more information on registration and events in the weeks to come.

2002 Lightning Production Set to Begin
2002 Lightning production will begin this month. What's new for 2002? True Blue has been added to the color palette, a keyless entry keypad has been added to the driver's door handle, and locking lug nuts have been added as a standard feature. Look for the first 2002 Lightnings to arrive in dealer showrooms by the end of the month.
SVT Focus Project Car On Display At SEMA
SVT revealed its latest project car at the 2002 SEMA show in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Oct. 30. Developed in partnership with Jackson Racing and other well-known names in the sport compact aftermarket, this trick vehicle was designed to promote the fact that when the SVT Focus goes into production in early 2002, there will be a wide selection of high quality aftermarket parts immediately available for those customers who just can't wait to make their own personal statement with their SVT Focus. A Jackson Racing supercharger package, which was specifically designed for the SVT Focus, headlines the vehicle, which also features components from Eurovox, Sparco USA, OZ Wheels, Eibach Springs, and Continental Tire. 2002 SVT Focus Pricing Announced At SEMA
The base price for the SVT Focus has been set at $17,995 including destination and delivery. Optional equipment available on the SVT Focus includes an Audiophile Stereo System ($675), a Power Moonroof ($595) and a Winter Package ($395). The Audiophile Stereo System includes a 290-watt peak power AM/FM 6-disc in-dash CD changer stereo with upgraded premium speakers and an 8-inch subwoofer.
