I had originally planned to do this too when I purchased by 3-gauge pod because I'm going to eventually get a Powercooler, but upon actually receiving my 2-1/16" Autometer Phantom-Series mechanical gauge in the mail, it looked like a lot more work than I was willing to get into. I don't know if you've actually ordered the gauge yet, but attached to the back of it is about 6 feet of 3/16" copper tubing (possibly liquid filled). First of all, I don't know if that's even long enough to reach the IC reservoir...but even if it is, it just seems like it would be a nightmare to actually route the tubing down the dash, through the firewall (not nearly as easy the wire for my air/fuel gauge...which was a pain), and around the edges of the engine bay. I still have the Autometer gauge wrapped up in the box if you're interested. Good Luck.

Later...
