Heheh, I knew you'd be back.

I just return my V6 convertible rental that I had while my truck was in the shop...not too shabby...you definately have to change that exhaust though, WAY to quiet!

Speedin,

Thanks bud You know I'll be in St.Louis with or without a Lightning. Besides...I already have my reservations at RAMADA Fairview. Convoy is a must, no more 55 with truck in tow.

captain, BrianK,Jay

For this ride... I plan a 4.4 stroker with the juice. Should be more than enough to reach my goals for this ride.

Brian, No 460 sound system. I got this baby with DRAGGIN' in mind. Just the basic package is good enough for me, gotta keep her as light as posible.

Daniel,

C'mon, just say that rental was a dog..especially a convertible. The exhaust must be some type of military stealth sound. Im planning a side true dual exhaust system for December

GATOR,
That 350 horse stang in this months issue (5.0 mag) is with the "old school" technology. LOL...just call DE the "pit of the States"...but I love it here.

Mondo,
It's totally possible to achieve those times, probably even quicker than that. Trust me...I plan to "break the envelope" with these V'6's. If you want to check out some SERIOUSLY cool *****, try www.moranav6racing.com. You'll be impressed with whats available for these babies. And of course you guys know I will keep anyone interested updated.

I know you will make that sixer haul!!

What made you want to attempt this with a V6?? I know it is possible, but you don't see it that often!!

Good luck man!!!

See ya next season!!!

Hey Spiro, nice ride . Those 200hp V-6s are good motors. And think about it, the old 5.0 Mustang was 225hp, so you're not far back from that to start with. That's a pretty good starting point .

I just got a press release not long ago from Bassani. They have a sweet new stainless dual exhaust cat back for the V-6 cars, and it looks great too. Has the straight polished stainless tips like the old LX's had. If you want it, let me know. If you need any other help with the new ride that I can provide, you know how to get me .

SPIRO!!!! I love that pit bro. Thats going to have to be my next mod

Hey why not a turbo kit for it. Look at what the old GN's and SY TY's are doing with a 6 banger.

I guess there's one good thing out of all of this guys, You won't have to worry about spiro being in front of us anymore at the track, HEHEHEHEHE. J/K.

Hey keep me posted on your mods, my little cousin has a yellow 2001 and she wants to make it fast. I told her to sell it but maybe there's some hope after all with spiro on the job now.

Hey, you should drop an L motor in the stanger that would be badA$$.

Twin turbo with a little shot of juice to eliminate the lag. Find a wrecked RX7 or late model Supra. At least you can run any rubber under that thing you want. No more grinding the calipers. Main thing is have fun with what you are doing. Keep us posted how your project progresses.

Hey Daniel

How's the L running? Did you try a 500' one wheel burnout on the convertible? It gets quite entertaining with the top down.

Spiro,

Nice car and I'm sure you'll make it really fast! Just be careful backing into the garage over the pit. The L's track is a little wider I'm sure. That would really suck to have one side's tire accidentally fall into the hole...ouch!!

Kyle,
Its never been done, so I plan on being the first. I want to run in the 12's with a V6 or quicker.......

Silver-Bolt,
there are a few actually installing the 87 (intercooled) GN motors in these babies.

Sal,
Thanks for the offer. Bassani's system is OK, never heard the sound though. I think I'll be working with a side exit MAC system since I am in the process of being one of their distibutors.

Joe,
Tell your cousin to keep that 200 HP V6....Like you said, I am on the job The pit is a must for any type of work...GET ONE!!

GATOR,
Come play in the Pit anytime you need. You wont believe the amount of use it gets lately

ANDY,
A trac-LOC would cure the "one wheel blues"

gforce,
You wont believe it, but ask around...the L actually landed in the pit before WFC3 Not too much damage, but the front passenger clip was IN THE PIT, and the drivers rear wheel was up in the air....it took a bit, but I got it out with pipes and a floor jack. when not in use, those numbered boards laying next to the car cover the hole.
