Broken Seat
Broken Seat
Hey guys, I need your help.
My passenger seatback is broken. When I pushed down on the seatback realease lever to tilt the seatback forward, I heard a "snap" and when I tried to return the seatback to its original position, it would not lock into place and now tilts all the way forward due to the spring tension. It appears to be a problem with the tilt/lock mechanism.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what do you suggest?
Thanks,
Mike

yeah, if you use the side bar then use the button on the back it'll screw up..
slide the seat all the way forward, then push the seatback towards the back glass, it should snap back into place.
if not try again, but this time pull up on the little lever and it will prolly pop back into place..
hope this helps.

Hey Brooks, you did it!
Guess I should have known it would take a fellow Pelican Stater to know the answer. (I was born in Shreveport many moons ago.) Your instructions were perfect. Once again, this board comes through big time.
Thanks a million for your help!

P.S. Maybe this should go in the FAQ's?
