JL,
Congrats on getting in the 11’s Sorry about the warm weather but I guess I am good luck on the barometric pressure If there is anyone in the L community that deserved an 11 it was you and I am glad I was there to watch it!!! I also want to say publicly that I appreciate and admire you for giving your customers the same programs you run. For those unable to attend JL and I joined the 11 second club and at least two other JL tuned trucks went 12.0’s!!!! I will make another post concerning my run. Johnny YOU DA MAN !!!!!!

Johnny,
Congratulations on getting into the 11 second club, Great run and get your truck taken care of so you can keep racing, I would really hate to see you hurt something major on your truck, Why do you think you have driveline problems? I ask this because my truck is lowered 3/3 and I plan on useing 15's with the 28" drags next year and I don't want to have the same problems. I really do hope you get it all taken care of so you can give it your best next year and not have to worry about breaking something. The more trucks that run fast the happier I am, so good luck and see you next year.
Bill

Johnny,

I was watching the starting line when you took off for your 11 second pass. It was so cool watching the reaction of people when the 11.93 came up.
I thick I yelled just as load as Sue did.

When you were driving threw the pits and I went up to shake you hand you had that same smile on your face that I had when I broke into the 11's

It was like two years ago at our first invite to the Super Stallions event when it was Spiro, Rick, Harvey, you and myself.
You ran 12.40's and I ran 12.40's.
We all had that smile on our face when Spiro ran 12.30's

There was alot more trucks there this year than last and we all left with that same smile on our face.

I would like to give thanks to Rick, for inviting us to the first Super Stallion event two years ago.

Cangrats Johnny and Totaled.I also have a new best 12.57@109 with only a J/L chip and #3pulley.I still haven't even checked the air in the rear tires. The 60 ft. was 1.81 You guys should have stayed for the night race.Tha temp dropped and the traction never changed.BTW I went 12.66 @109 the first run of the day with a 1.86 60ft.This was on pump gas with the sway bar ,hitch and spare in place and hooked up. Thank You Johnny!

JL had a great last run for his '99 and Totaled ran two 11 sec. passes at Cecil. It was just an amazing day. I ran a new best of 12.52 at 109 with my new Et Streets. Only mods are JL ram air, JL chip, JL lower pulley, and ET Streets. 99svtlightning (Eric) ran a new best of 12.0? and the guy from Mass. ran 12.40's on F1s.

I had a great time.

Thanks JL for such great parts and service.
Can always count on JL for help.

We should all pick a day and head down to Cecil again before the track closes and the snow falls. I almost hit my 11 sec. goal, but not quite. The street ET's are giving me decent 60' times, but I would love to be able to go full throttle off the line.

Johnny,
Thanks for all of the help! I'm still debating on an 01 or keep the 99 for next season. We'll have to see, but I'm definitely deciding before the long tubes, pump, and fan.

Congrats JL!! You've been so close for so long that it had to make it that much sweeter. You probably had a bigger grin than this.

Again thanx a million! the problem i'm having with the u-joints is wrap up.. i have a traction device on top of the leaf springs but these babies just aint getting the job done.. so we will be using a different setup for the season next year..i'm sure this will fix the problem for sure..it will be a lift bar for sure i feel this is the best setup in my opinion. it not only stops the wrap up it also tranfers the torque to the front of the truck promoting lift. which is a big plus! Congrats again JL and Jim. Was some awesome runs. Don't think I've ever seen anyone as excited as Jim after that 11.79. I think Cindy had to peel him off the roof of the truck. I don't think I've ever seen so many "L"s at the track at one time. Seemed like every other pass you heard that distinct whine.

I also had the pleasure of meeting another F150 member when I made a pit stop in Fredricksburg. Get yourself a Lightning Dorian, you won't regret it.
