Backed it up with a 12.60@107.38. The 60' were 1.78 and 1.77. Temp was 68.
My mods are Bfg drag radials( yea the little tiny ones),JDM tuned chip(Street side), JLP pulley, electric fan, K&N drop in filter(for all the whiners out there) and STOCK AIR BOX.Only weight reduction was the spare. I was totally surprised that it ran this quick.

I'm impressed- time to update the sig. Like just about everyone else on this board, I've really been debating about trading up from my '00 silver to a '01, and hearing things like this make the decision easier and easier. Good J-O-B.

The gears and new intake on these 01 help alot. My 99 had a bad tranny (1-2 shift). It would have gone faster with a healthy one.

Next time flip it over to the race side, and drive it to the track that way, and I bet you will do even better.

Nice run. Hopefully we will both be running faster next time we get a chance to get out their (next Spring). May have to go get a 2002 when the come out, and then we will close the gap on who is faster!!! Take it easy man.

I notice a couple of ohio guys here,

did you know we have an SVTOA on Track Event this weekend at IRP (indianapolis raceway).

We will have drag racing Saturday, and road course on Saturday and Sunday.

Should be able to get some good #'s.

BTW, I am impressed with those times.

The best I could muster was a 12.70 with about the same 60's, the taller tire is definately hurting my top end though.

I have been there a couple of times this year. my home track is National Trail Raceway. Kilkare hooks very good compared to Trails.My best ever with the bfgdrags was 1.87 @ Trails compared to 1.77 @ Kilkare. On the new 01 @ trails with F1s it has gone 1.85 when in my 99 I could only get 1.94.Must be the new compound! And yea you only get about 2 runs at Kilkare unless you hot lap it!
