2.) Where do you take it for service.........performance-friendly, and maybe mod-friendly dealer??

bought it from DelRay Moroone.....Salesman was Al Snow. He was in the internet department. Very cool guy to work with. Actually treated me like an adult.

help a fellow Lightning lover out!! I've got two places here in South Fla that aren't budging from the MSRP.....and another one that started out with 2K over MSRP, but won't go down from 500 over MSRP.....

I finally got in touch with a Maroone guy in Margate, and he's listing it at $31,610 for a white L....

that's the best i can find, and i doubt i'll get any better!!

i got mine used. paid 25500 for it.....it was a 99 with 11200 miles. i am only 22 and i look 16, so it was a surprise that he treated me so well.

when i was looking at a new one....i was going to pay 29,000 for a new one. just call around and ask for the best price. then call the next guy and ask him to beat it. then the next guy. you'll get the price down there. just remember you are in control of the sale.

one of the guys had to drive to okeechobee county but he got his for 27800 i think.

My roomate and I went all over S. Florida to get our Lightnings. We ended up at Wayne Akers in Lake Worth. Our salesperson was the nicest I have ever dealt with(Jerry Smith). We went to Maroone, Sawgrass, Delray(Maroone) and Al Packer. They were all a bunch of freaking a$$holes. I have taken my truck in for service as well already. I got my truck back clean, no scratches, and everything was done right. Can you ask for more?

I have a tentative deal @ Maroone Ford of Margate......I left a $1K deposit for them to hold a white L for me......For $31,610 with Tonneau cover and bedliner.......It's all tentative on whether my car hits the $13k reserve price on ebay tonight.........otherwise, I'll strip my Accord back down to stock and trade it in...........I should be able to squeeze between 9 and 10k for my stock Accord...........that's the only negotiating part I got......the trade in part.......

I have an appt today @ Gus Machado Ford......they have it listed @ $30,399, but I don't know what hidden costs there are...........I'd rather call the guy @ Maroone back, and tell him to match the Gus Machado Price...

Anyways, i'll keep you posted.........hopefully i'll have a brand new white L in my driveway by end of week..
