Calipers are ground, slicks are on! Talk about hook!

My buddy came over with his grinder tonight and we went to town,

took 4 times grinding to get them perfect, but we did it.

we did a little at a time to take as little off as possible.

can you say HOOK

i tried to do a dry burnout at 20psi just before pulling out on the street and the truck was pushing forward anyway.

pulled out to a light and just mashed it full throttle, the truck just planted us back in our seats! i added the spacer kit for the traction bars today and they are at about 1" seems pretty good

i can't wait to hit the track saturday, drop to about 15psi spin the crap out of em and see what she does

What do you guys think i'll 60' at?

Question

HI!... When you get a chance can you please post some IN DETAIL pics of what your calipers look like now and how abouts you went about doing it. I gather that your are running 15 inch rims. I want to do this mod very soon and any info would be great. If you can't post pics then please send me some to my E-mail address in my lower SIG, THANKS in advance.

Beefcake

was it the face you had to grind off, or did you grind the outside edges of them.

I have attached a photo of the very first calipers that I modified. It should give you an idea of where you have to grind. The critical area is the wall thickness of the of the piston bore.
