Probably Canada- check Al's location. L's retail for $42650 CDN. With some good haggling skills, buying one for around $36- 37,000 is not unreasonable. That's what I got mine for.

Now convert that to US dollars. With today's exchange rate hovering around 1.58, the deals are even better. Assume a purchase price of $36,500 CDN. That's the equivalent of approximately $23100 US!!!

So whats the difference between the US and the Canadian Lightning?

I dont live in the US so I can get the vehicle from Canada if there is that sort of savings...

Do you have any dealer's contact information in Canada that sell L's?

there is no difference, only the speedo has to be changed to get it across the border , to change it to miles an hour instead of kilometers.i have had that done. i sold my 99 to a guy from sioux city ,

PS. You DON'T want to know what we can buy Corvette Z-06's for. Plus, it's a completely different model than the US version. Over here it's the Zed -06 and it's yours for about $42000 US.

What year is your L. Mine's a black 01. I know of two others. One silver and one red. They are 99's or 00's. If yours is an 01 that would make 4 in a town with a pop. of just over 10k
