ok so on tuesday i took my truck to the dealer to get the fog light and drivers side tailight replaced (condensation) so i figured while im here ill have them look at the front end for the clunk. needless to say its thursday and im now just getting my truck today. but heres what i think is weird the fix for the clunk was replacing the lower control arm has anyone ever heard of this i know i havent
p.s. my rental was a 2001 dadge ram w/v8
in my opinion it was the biggest POS ive ever driven i think my 99 f-150 with a v6 had more power

I had my lower control arms replaced almost 1 year ago and have not heard the clunk since.
There was alot of controversy about if this would work or not and for me it does.
My L is a daily driver so you know I put alot of miles in it.

I just noticed the front end clunk on my 99 when I am making a somewhat sharp turn and hit a speed hump or anything like that. Most of our Crown Vic cruisers do that after about 15-25k miles too. The Crown Vics are actually worse sounding than my L. I am going to have mine checked when I take it in for the supercharger/intercooler recall.
