spanky,

The Bilsteins used on the 01's are MUCH better than the stock 99-00 units and are reasonably priced.

If memory serves me correct, a couple of folks tried Edelbrocks a year or so ago and ended up taking them off after a short while.

Might try a search for "Edelbrock IAS Shocks"

Bob

I'd go with the blistiens.

I'm waiting for their new ones to come out, the ones that go with the hotchkis kit.

I used to have IAS on my old 4x4. They were great shocks, but pricey. I got them on sale, all 4 for $200, reg they're about $75 a piece. That and 01's come w/ blistiens, so most likely ford chose them b/c they worked great w/ the Lightnings suspension.

Thumbs down shocks

I got IAS on my L2 because i had them on another short bed and they were better than stock. I DO NOT like them on th L. When I am leaned over in a corner and hit a bump, it dumps. Almost like the shock broke. The dealer charged me $100 to install them during a service. When I had inquired at the dealer about the price of Bilsteins, they told me they cost $150 each. The parts guy now tells me they cost #32.00 . (My next mod. In my new garage.)
