Have you ever owned a covertable car??? OK. It is about as secure as a convertable car. Geez, I suppose you have steel bars across your glass huh??

I had them all. There is only one top that has the alum. bows stiched right in the cover (and its the thickest cover with both sides laminated). That is the Access cover. It also has a commercial grade aluminum end lip that clicks into the locking position with no exposed hardware and it also clamps in.It is by far the highest quality soft cover I have purchased to date.It folds up and closes in less than 30 seconds..and the best thing is you don't have to store the bows!It is a bit pricey, though( somewhere around $435) but it is a quality peice.
If you've had them all you'd realize that you just described a truxedo as well. The only difference is a truxedo doesn't fold up, it rolls up. I have seen Acess covers and they look like quality units. My 40lb neice can stand on mine without damaging it.

I stopped by the two local topper shops in my area today. #1 wanted $249 for a Downey SST- installed and $399 for the bedrug. #2 wanted $230 for a Sportsman-installed and $365 for the bedrug.

Both the Downey and Sportsman covers seemed very similar. Both use the plastic snaps that snap into the rails, the cover material was very close.

Factory Cover

I have a factory cover that fits better than all aftermarket. I run an accessory store. My L got a hard cover 2 weeks after I recieved it, so mine is 4 Sale.

I am interested in the factory cover you have for sale. Email a price to Kerrdogg@mindspring.com and I'll get back to you ASAP.

I just added an A.R.E. Cover,

for a soft cover, i don't see how it could get much better than the factory cover.

if i didn't want a hard one, i wouldn't have even considered an aftermarket one.

my buddy was clueless how to put it on, i went over his place, after only doing it 1 time, with 2 people, it took us maybe 2 minutes.

XTANG and in any color you can imagine, along with a 3 year warranty against cracking and fading. Mine is on and off every week and is a dream.
