Unhappy Need help with CalTracs

Does anybody have pics of CalTracs installed with Bassani exhaust? My driveshaft has been hitting at the rear u joint and finally bent and broke the u joint and flange Wed night at the track. New driveshaft and CalTracs here but cannot seem to get the to fit. The original bracket seems OK but the extra bracket for the Bassani mskes the bar seem to long. This is the front bracket on the right side. This was the only set Mark had left and it did not have any directions with it. Truck is apart in driveway just wanting to go to track tonight. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I thought the Cal Trac had to have a modified bracket for the Bassani exhaust system. If this set does, try swaping the brackets from left to right?

It does but all 4 peices are the same. I see how it should work but then the tube is about 3" too long. I'm just about done beating my head on the ground and am thinking about taking tail pipes off and install regular bracket and have muffler shop rebend. I'm just not sure if there is enough room. Would hate to have to take it all back apart if it doesn't work.

Only Sals Cal tracs will work with the bassani system (from what I remember being told). You will have to cut into your expensive bassani exhaust to make it work otherwise...... ouch! Good luck!!

Went to Sal"s web and got a picture of kit. The brackets I have are right but the bar is too long by 2-3 inches. Oh well put it all back together and try again later. Aint this stuff fun!!

Cal Trac's without Bassani

Does anyone have pic's of them without Bassani? or a link with them installed. I can't find anything except the kit pic on Sal's site and that doesn't help much.

I have looking all day for answers. As far as I can see it doesn't make any difference if it is Bassani or not. The L exhaust has to have a different bracket. Found out I have the wrong bar. The one I have is too long. Man what a day!
