Yeah, it may just be a truck, but that sucks...bigtime! To only have your truck a week and have it dented by some punks, then have it happen again...I dunno what I would have done. I'm getting kinda upset, and it wasn't even my truck...
CornerCarver, you must be doing something to **** all the kids off? I hope your insurance deductable isn't too high...

I'm sorry but to say its just a truck is all fine and dandy...till this type of stuff happens to you. Man if they were over 18 I would have no doubt kicked the living tar out of them...but if its young punks all you can do is tell the parents. I remember coming out of the movies one night this summer and some punk was all looking in my truck...I shot over there like a bat out of hell and promptly scared the little sucker off. Try to keep your cool CC but I totally understand you wanting to jerk someone's neck!!

Might try to make a run Thursday night without the w/s. Hey, it gotta save 30-40 lbs...
I drove a car once with no windshield. Funny thing happened- at freeway speeds (a little more actually) the rest of the windows blew out with a rather loud BOOM. Nothing like being 18 and explaining to Dad what happened to all the windows on his company car. Oh well, it was a Buick anyway.

Angry

I guess this just goes to prove that America is definately going downhill... I was not a good kid by any means, but if I saw a cool truck I would stare and drool, not throw stuff at it.

I blame it all on the lack of the "Big Hand". If I did something bad/dumb, I got the belt from the "Big Hand" when he got home from work. I honestly think I'm a better person for it. These days, these punk kids call child protective services if their parents lay a finger on them. The state comes in and proceeds to investigate, and possibly arrest, the parents for doing their job.

I don't know if I could keep my calm in that situation...

When I was 9 years old Jack Raber and I hid behind some bushes and threw those little cracker ***** at passing cars - the kind that bang on impact. We rarely succeeded until we hit a low rider doing about 40. Within three seconds of the bang the guy had come to a complete stop, jumped out of the car, and pinned us both down. He was probably 18.

He didn't beat us up, he just roughed us up. We whimpered pitifully that it would never happen again. And, you know what?

It never happened again.

There's a lot to be said for a little discipline!

That sucks!

Sorry to hear, I would be pissed if it happened to me. I spend too much time and money waxing and taking care of my truck to have some kid, or anyone else do something to my truck. It's not just a truck it's my prize possesion and my $30,000.00 to boot.
Hope our luck turns for the better.
