Last week I went out in the morning and started the L and to my surprise the whole truck jerked forward! I checked to make sure it was in park all the way and it was......This morning, the same thing, started it up and it jerks forward again! Now, I've never had a vehicle do this, but then again I've never owned a truck, or an L for that matter. Should I be concerned or am I just getting paranoid? Has anyone had this happen to them?

 

This must have been the first cold snap you have had?

Mine does it too when it is cold out. It is a known isue so I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure you set the parking brake.

 

Just how far is it going. An inch or two , more, or just an urge in that direction?

 

It's moving forward quite a bit...but it's only happening in the morning, so far. Maybe it's not that serious...I hope.

 

Mine does the same thing.It scared me at first.Then,I realized shes just anxious to whoopass. .It did scare the crap out of me at first!

 

My truck does it too! Not very much just a little nudge forward.
