MORE LIGHTNING DISSASSEMBLY pics for your viewing pleasure...

Hi again all, I didn't finish the L job today because one of the guys on my team had to go home at 11:00 am so I had to take care of some other jobs. But I did make some more progress. Here are some more pics:

timing chains...

closer view of timing and bank 1 cam...

parts and more parts, look closely and see the clean spot on the intercooler where the leak was, and see the puddle of antifreeze in the intercooler/lower intake valley...

later,
chris

P.S. here is the link to the first thread of removing the body in case you missed those pics...

Don't worry Skank Dog, I promise it'll be as good as new! Hauling A$$ again by tomorrow afternoon (hopefully, IF everybody on my team shows up for work)

chris

I agree - it's like the feeling I get when flipping through the TV channels while eating and come up on one of those liposuction documentaries.

Do you give the poor guy an pain killers before you started cutting?

Trabuco, yah it's like those heart surgery shows on the Discovery channel, you get gut-wrenched watching, but looking at it still intrigues you!

Its like looking at a bad car wreck. I really don't want to see it, but at the same time Iam drawn to it like a moth to a porch light

Hey superfords, Is there any way you can put together a list of items that need to be removed from the cab and engine to lift it up like this.

this looks like a much easier way for my to work on my truck this winter.

With the back half off and the front half off I should be able to get allot more done on her. About how heavy do you think the cab portion is. Me and my buddy lifted my bed off by ourselfs, but I think the cab would take allot more people, HEHEHEHE.

Thanks for you help.
